Together We Can
We focus on making the maximum positive impact for everyone in the Bonita Unified School District. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change.

The La Verne San Dimas Educational Foundation has been supporting students and staff since 1983. We proudly serve 13 different school sites with over 10,000 students and 1,500 staff. Our continuous partnership with the Bonita Unified School District Superintendent, District Office Administrative Staff, and Board of Education has allowed us to promote a healthy environment for academics and wellness throughout the entire district.

LVSDEF is not just another organization…
to sit around and talk about what needs to improved. LVSDEF is filled with so many people that get out there and make that change, always leaving it better than how they found it.
Teachers from all 13 Bonita Unified School District Schools nominate students from their respective sites.
Perseverance Awards is an annual event that rewards those who have shown extraordinary levels of perseverance throughout their lifetime. Awards like these are rare, but they do exist for people with the most tenacity and determination in all aspects of their life.
Golfing For A Cause
The Ed Jones Memorial Golf Tournament is our annual fund-raising golf tournament that takes place at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course.
The game of golf has been played for centuries, but it is only in the last few years that players have started to take their games seriously and use them as a platform from which they can raise funds or awareness towards causes close to home. The Ed Jones Memorial Golf Tournament is our annual fund-raising golf tournament and will take place at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course.
High School Seniors Scholarships, Teacher Mini-Grants, and More
We are committed to the success of our students and work with a wide variety of programs that help them achieve their goals, including support for struggling learners and those who are at risk. It can feel challenging when you don’t see any progress, but progress doesn’t happen overnight! Working toward educational empowerment allows us to create communities where nobody feels left behind!
What Makes Us Different?
Our Board of Directors are all unpaid volunteers that live in San Dimas or La Verne with and without children currently attending school. We are unique in the fact that we support close to 10,000 students and 1,200 staff at 13 schools sites that span across two different cities.
All of our programs are made possible by the Educational Foundation’s Annual Ed Jones Memorial Golf Tournament and our major sponsors Total Wine & More, Team Lorge Real Estate, and La Esperanza De Nuestra Comunidad, Waste Management, and the Wednesday Afternoon Club. Thank you to our sponsors for making this possible.
We're Here For You
We not only have strong a partnership with the Bonita Unified School District but with both communities to include our local to support our students and staff. Our partnership also extends to our local non-profits where we network and maximize our efforts to provide when and where we can.
Learn How To Volunteer
Volunteering is an excellent way for those who want to impact their communities and get involved with people they may not normally encounter. There are many opportunities available, so if you’re looking into what type of service project would best suit your interests, we recommend checking us out.
Get a head start on our new projects and events by following us on social media. We announce upcoming initiatives, field trips, or other ways that we’re connecting with students before they happen so you always have an opportunity to make connections at school – both inside AND outside your classroom.
